![]() ![]() Easy!Įdit: In GIMP 2.8 you may rotate brushes under the "tool Options" in a similar way which will not be a permanent change. This works with every brush as it is how I set them up. To reset a brush back to default angle, just return the angle slider back to 0. If you change the "angle" slider, it will rotate the brush by how many degrees that number states.īut note that changing the angle is technically a permanent change to the brush that will stick with it even on a GIMP restart. The easiest way to do it is to open the brushes dialog in GIMP (windows > dockable dialogs > Brushes), then double click/tap the brush you want to rotate. You will probably want to rotate these so you can stamp with them at any angle you desire as you go. lol!Īfter downloading, just place (or copy) them in the "Brushes" folder of the GIMP program directory (the 2.6 or 2.8 one, NOT the 2.0 one!). a readme and the Deviantart preview thumbnail in case I ever lose them. Included in this pack are 23 brushes of various kinds:Īnd. If you find these ideas useful to you or have your own, feel free to download and use these as you please! But what they do, they do well! They could possibly used for quick shape sketches by stamping together multiple pieces of different sized stamps to make an object. Most of these brushes were designed more for "stamping" things rather than drawing or painting. ![]()
